Consultant Psychiatrist Opportunity in Older Adults

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Older Adults at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established supportive service, providing care to patients in both in-patient wards and the community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients in Older Adults, working closely with social workers, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement new models and methods of working, including liaison with primary care within the MCP model.
  • Contribute to medical management and research, and participate in teaching and training activities for postgraduate psychiatric and GP trainees, as well as undergraduates from Birmingham and Grenada Universities.
