We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Lead to join our team at our Nuneaton site. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our cheese packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase line uptime and improve team performance.
  • Ensure all quality sampling, testing, and documentation regimes are adhered to and the corresponding paperwork is filed as required.
  • Implement and document quality systems and HACCP requirements to ensure compliance with all specified equipment and environmental cleaning regimes.
  • Monitor time and attendance and review with individuals where lateness/absence levels are below standard, utilizing the company Sickness Policy framework and Disciplinary Policy.
Requirements
  • Production management experience.
  • A hands-on approach to manufacturing with the ability to present findings in an orderly fashion.
  • Experience and a good understanding of OEE.
  • The ability to coach and develop a team, including experience dealing with HR matters, including disciplinaries and absence management.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, including MIP and Lean Techniques, and the ability to implement and sustain a 5S culture.
