About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Furness General Hospital. As an RMN, you will play a key role in the care and rehabilitation of mental health patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to agree the most appropriate treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting patients daily to provide tailored support plans
  • Building trusting relationships with patients and their families
  • Administering medication as appropriate and monitoring patients' physical and mental health
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to patients
  • Working as part of a wider team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years
  • Enhanced background check
