Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skill base and work with a close-knit team to provide high-quality care to our clients. As a Rapid Response Care Assistant, you'll have the chance to develop your skills in various complex areas, including tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.

You'll work with individuals with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries, providing personalized support and care in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Rapid Response Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care to clients with complex needs
  • Developing and enhancing your skills in tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to deliver exceptional care
  • Traveling to various locations within a 100-mile radius to provide care
  • Working on an on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous complex care experience, including ventilation care and tracheostomy care
  • Compassion, resilience, and a willingness to learn and develop your skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
