Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Technician 3 to join our team at Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited. This role demands hands-on work both outdoors and indoors, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of fiber and copper facilities.
This position involves performing manual labor tasks for telecommunications construction projects, including the installation and removal of equipment. You will also support fellow construction technicians to optimize workflow and project efficiency.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labor tasks for telecommunications construction projects, including the installation and removal of equipment.
- Support fellow construction technicians to optimize workflow and project efficiency.
- Provide comprehensive documentation including accurate as-built prints and associated photographs for project closeout packages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, job sites, and equipment inventory.
- Operate various vehicles and equipment including bucket trucks, trenchers, and digger derricks safely and effectively.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Valid CDL-A license required, with the ability to maintain a CDL medical card.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Prior experience in construction (3-5 years preferred).
Competencies:
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
- Adaptability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
