About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team at HMP Highpoint South, a Category C men's prison in Suffolk, England.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and implement treatment options for patients with complex mental health needs.

You will be responsible for undertaking medication rounds, assessing and treating patients who have experienced trauma, and ensuring the physical and mental health of prisoners is assessed and addressed throughout their custody.

Using evidence-based frameworks, you will risk assess and develop treatment options, making clinical judgments regarding immediate and long-term care.

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive annual salary up to £38,115, depending on experience.
