We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Mental Health Worker to join our team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our CAMHS team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct clinical interventions to children, young people, and their families, using evidence-based approaches and a non-stigmatizing environment.
- Build strong partnerships with universal, targeted, and specialist services to improve access and capacity building across the wider system.
- Support senior clinicians and universal services through consultation models, teaching, and training, as well as multi-agency forums and pathways.
- Contribute to the development of our Be You Mental Health Teams in schools' programmes and early help prevention offers within the 0-19 family hub models.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mental health, preferably with a 1st Level Nursing Registration or a relevant professional qualification. A degree in a relevant subject and a registered mentor qualification are also essential. Desirable qualifications include a specialist post-registration qualification in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and evidence of leadership skills.
