Primary Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Mental Health Worker to join our team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our CAMHS team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in our community.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Primary Mental Health Worker, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and their families. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, brief therapy, and support to those in need. Your role will also involve building strong partnerships with universal, targeted, and specialist services to improve access and capacity building across the wider system.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for an individual with a strong background in mental health, preferably with a degree in a relevant subject and a professional qualification such as a nursing registration or a level 6 or above qualification in CAMHS. You will also need to be a registered mentor and have a degree in a relevant subject. Specialist post-registration qualifications in Child and Adolescent Mental Health are desirable.
