Yard Operative Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a yard operative.



  • This is a full-time role with a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent position.
  • The working hours will be 7:30am-5:00pm, although this may temporarily change to 7:30am-4:30pm during peak periods.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their skills and career within a well-established construction company.

The successful candidate will work outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring physical endurance and adaptability. They will also be responsible for maintaining high attention to detail while handling stock, ensuring accurate inventory management.



  • A Counterbalance Forklift Licence is advantageous, increasing the salary to £26,800 per annum.
  • The ideal candidate will have manual labour experience and a strong work ethic.
