The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervising Social Worker to join our team, working closely with foster carers, social workers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to foster carers, collaborating with social workers and other professionals, and developing and implementing individualised plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualifying experience in fostering or family placements, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services and achieving outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with foster carers, social workers, and other stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including the Children's Act and NMS Fostering Standards.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks efficiently, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
