Job Title: Operating Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Operating Department Nurse to join our team at Three Shires Hospital. This role involves delivering safe and high-quality care to patients during their perioperative phase, supporting the management and organization of care provision within the Operating Department.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and managing teams, coordinating staff training needs, and resource requirements. They will also be responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and applying relevant legislation, policies, and procedures correctly.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to assemble, check, and prepare surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for various operative procedures. The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
