Job Role Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of the sales team and dealership network. This key contributor ensures efficient operations, maintains high customer satisfaction levels, and enhances sales processes. The role involves overseeing sales operations, coordinating with various departments, managing administrative responsibilities, and providing essential support to help the team achieve sales objectives within the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate industry reports using SMMT and Insight data.
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, including forecasts and performance metrics.
- Coordinate communication between customers, dealers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth operational processes.
- Oversee pricing strategies for campaigns and quarterly sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage inbound customer inquiries via calls and emails, delivering prompt and accurate responses.
- Plan and organize marketing events, POS materials, and other sales support initiatives.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, including discount terms, and support fleet and Motability operations.
Requirements:
- At least two years' experience within the automotive and/or leasing industry is desirable.
- Experience in Fleet/Retail Administration and working with customers.
- A proficient level of numeracy and literacy with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and is competent in using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
- Be a motivated and well-organized individual, including the ability to work on your initiative with support from your Line Manager.
- The ability to work well within a team and can support and challenge colleagues appropriately.
