Aesthetic Field Service Technician

KAP Technical Limited is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the service team, you will be responsible for conducting field service activities, including repair, maintenance, and commissioning of new and used machinery at customer sites or job locations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct field service activities, including repair, maintenance, and commissioning of new and used machinery.
2. Adhere to written job instructions, quality standards, budgetary guidelines, and health and safety policies.
3. Requisition parts for service jobs within approved budget limits.
4. Perform field service tasks, including repairs, servicing, and commissioning of pavers and related equipment.
5. Complete and submit all job-related paperwork daily, returning it to the service office upon job completion.

Requirements:

1. Preferred Qualification: Mechanical engineering or related discipline.
2. Skills Required: Proven mechanical and fitting expertise.
3. Experience: Experience with heavy plant machinery, preferably paving machines.
4. Additional Experience: Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems in heavy plant machinery.

Working Conditions:

The role requires frequent travel and overnight stays. You will be expected to maintain a professional appearance on-site, including wearing the company uniform and PPE. Your van and tools must be kept clean, organized, secure, and safe to use at all times.
