Job Summary
Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our Geo-environment team. As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will assist in the design, procurement, supervision, and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations. You will also undertake desktop study assessments, collect and analyze site data, produce detailed reports, and conduct ground gas and groundwater monitoring works and assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, procurement, supervision, and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations.
- Undertake desktop study assessments to identify potential environmental hazards.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret site data to inform project decisions.
- Produce detailed reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Conduct ground gas and groundwater monitoring works and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science, or related subject.
- Enthusiasm and determination to learn and progress within the fields of contaminated land, site investigation, brownfield redevelopment, and geotechnical engineering.
- Commitment to studying towards professional qualification.
- Strong analytical, written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Preferable to have relevant work experience, such as a work placement.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Full driving license.
