About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Control Specialist to join our Compliance Team at Ridge & Partners LLP. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' projects meet the highest standards of building regulations and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on building regulations and safety standards to clients, contractors, and design teams.
  • Conduct plan checks and reviews to ensure compliance with building regulations and legislation.
  • Attend client and design team meetings to provide professional guidance on building regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in building regulations and legislation to ensure that our clients' projects remain compliant.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in a construction-related field, preferably with a design-related focus.
  • Significant experience in building regulations, construction, and project management.
  • Excellent knowledge of building regulations, codes, and associated legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Membership to RICS, CABE, or CIOB, with a current record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Proficiency in using SharePoint and other technology/programs.
