About the Role
The Project Analyst is a key member of our technology development team, responsible for supporting the organization, planning, and execution of projects. This role will assist the engineering team with various tasks and activities to drive productivity and project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support: Provide assistance to the IPT Lead with project management activities, including work breakdown, project plan development, ongoing project maintenance, communication, and action tracking.
- Deliverables Coordination: Coordinate the planning, tracking, and documentation of technology development project deliverables.
- Collaboration Facilitation: Facilitate collaboration across engineering, adjacent functions, and business units to prepare, coordinate, and deliver statements of work, engineering documentation, and technology hardware procurement.
- Process Improvement: Implement and maintain standardized templates and checklists to enhance the quality and consistency of engineering deliverables.
- Project Finance Management: Track and manage project finances, including schedule and cost adherence, and provide updates on project control metrics.
- Review Session Organization: Organize, schedule, and participate in project review sessions, including Design Reviews, Cadence Reviews, and Risk Reviews.
- Global Collaboration: Facilitate global collaboration among the engineering team by coordinating meetings, communications, and resource allocation.
- Inter-entity Agreements: Manage and coordinate Inter-entity Work Agreements and NDAs related to technology development.
- Facility Management: Oversee facility management, coordinating with engineering and external vendors to ensure tools and equipment are functional, calibrated, and readily available.
Requirements
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Project Management Skills: Foundational project management skills, including experience in project planning, task tracking, and resource coordination.
- Interpersonal Skills: Effective interpersonal and communication skills, and is comfortable working across various teams, including engineering, operations, and support.
- Project Management Tools: Experienced with project management tools, templates, and processes to improve productivity and project visibility.
- Technology Development Background: A background in a technology development or engineering environment, with knowledge of project control and tracking metrics.
- Financial Management: Ability to manage project financials, including cost adherence and scheduling, and is comfortable generating and interpreting project performance metrics.
