Job Summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead the unlicensed aseptic preparation of medicines. As the Accountable Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective supply of medicines to patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the unlicensed aseptic team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the aseptic preparation service.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Pharmacist and senior management team to align the aseptic service with the Trust's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.
