Job Summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the unlicensed aseptic preparation of medicines. As the Accountable Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise to ensure the safe and effective preparation of medicines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure exceptional care is provided in line with the Trust's values
  • Act as the Accountable Pharmacist for aseptic preparation of medicines, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice standards and Quality Assurance of Aseptic Preparation Services
  • Support the Chief Pharmacist in leading, delivering, developing, and evaluating the pharmacy aseptic service
  • Lead the unlicensed pharmacy aseptic team, developing and mentoring staff to meet the needs of the service
