Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and capable Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Meridian Business Support Limited.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide an exemplary pharmacy service, adhering to current legislation, clinical requirements, and professional standards.
  • Offer advice and support to consultants, clinicians, and patients, ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • Lead, motivate, and effectively manage the pharmacy team, providing excellent leadership.
  • Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments, staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards.
  • Lead quality improvement projects and audits within pharmacy, promoting a continuous learning culture.
  • Promote a patient-focused, multidisciplinary approach to delivering an efficient, high-quality healthcare service.
Requirements:
  • GPHC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting as a Pharmacist.
  • Leadership/managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Ability to share evidence-based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards.
