Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to fill the role of Pharmacy Manager at our private hospital in Reading. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading our pharmacy team and ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to consultants, clinicians, and patients on medication management and safety.
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure seamless medication management and minimize errors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with no restrictions.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • At least 4 years of experience working as a Clinical Pharmacist in the UK.
  • Managerial experience in a pharmacy setting in the UK is essential.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
