We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Global Fixed Income Technology department at Janus Henderson Investors.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the success of our business by developing and implementing state-of-the-art software and hardware maintenance to support our fund management, trading, distribution, and operational areas with secure, stable, and resilient technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Work with business stakeholders, project managers, data analysts, data architects, and developers to define solutions and implement change with regards to investment analytics.
- Take responsibility for changes assigned to you, including facilitating required meetings, obtaining sign-off of acceptance criteria, and managing to implementation.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and solution design.
- Conduct data sourcing from JHI's data platform to support detailed analysis.
- Produce quality test plans and manage all aspects of system and user testing either as an individual or in conjunction with other teams.
- Liaise with wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
- Oversee risks and issues effectively with timely escalation to the Product Owner or Change Delivery Lead.

- Previous experience of working with Bloomberg, specifically PORT+ analytics, PORT, and functions such as JMGR, PRTU, and BBU.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income analytics and methodology.
- Thorough knowledge of investment analytics, exposure calculations, and IT systems.
- Agile experience.
- Experience of CRD v17R2 or later, Management Workbench, would be beneficial.
- Experience of leading the analysis process: from requirement gathering, writing test cases, implementation, sign-offs, and presenting demos to business.
- Experience of Markit EDM would be beneficial.
