We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Factory Operative at a prestigious automotive company in the Washington/Sunderland area.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment, where you will be responsible for carrying out general duties such as machine operating, quality inspection, hand assembly, and completing duties for despatch and inventory as designated by your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery and equipment to assist with the overall production process
  • Conduct quality inspections of various components
  • Assemble automotive components using hand tools
  • Participate in daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor to prioritize workloads
  • Work in a team environment to achieve production targets
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to company health and safety standards
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Confidence on the job and ability to take on additional responsibilities
