We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a SEN Respite and Short Breaks Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and their families, providing support and respite in a safe and enriching environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Designate Safeguarding Lead for Short Breaks, overseeing the safety and well-being of children and young people with SEN.
• Manage a team of childcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality short breaks and respite services.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to identify and meet the needs of children and young people with SEN.
• Provide administrative support, including invoicing and data management.

Requirements

• Level 3 H&S Care, Childcare or similar qualification.
• Experience of working with children and young people with SEN in an education or care setting.
• Strong ICT skills and ability to manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
