We are looking for a talented Quantitative Research Associate to join our team and contribute to our success.

As a Quantitative Research Associate at Intropic, you will play a key role in driving the generation and analysis of high-quality insights and information for our clients. This involves maintaining and validating the output of our existing models while seeking to improve them with new information sources and in-depth analysis. You will work directly with our clients, building strong relationships and using your knowledge of their area to ensure they get the most value from our data. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out improvements and updates to our product, both internally and to our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Analyzing large amounts of financial data and information to identify trends and patterns.
  • Validating the output of automated models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Developing and implementing new models and modelling techniques to improve our research and analysis.
  • Modelling specific corporate actions and broader index changes to provide actionable insights to our clients.
  • Writing research reports and content notes that help clients extract more value from our core forecasts.
  • Communicating directly with our clients to help them understand our research and its applications.
  • Identifying and cataloguing new sources of publicly available information to enhance our research capabilities.

Requirements:
  • A strong background in finance and capital markets, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Previous coding experience, preferably with Python, with a keen interest to learn more.
  • The ability to communicate actionable insights derived from data analysis effectively.
  • Excellent academic results, including a degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
