About This Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Trainer/Assessor to lead our Electrical Installations team at M2R Education. As an Assistant Head of Department, you will work closely with the Head of Department to deliver high-quality educational experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing curriculum plans to ensure student achievement.
  • Leading and supporting a team of trainers and assessors to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment practices.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to support institutional goals.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g., DET, DTLLS, Cert Ed/PGCE).
  • A Full level 3 NVQ Construction qualification related to the curriculum area.
  • An IQA Award or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience working in an education/training setting.
  • Recent teaching experience in the relevant curriculum area.
  • Ongoing professional development evidence.
  • Ability to work across multiple campuses.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • UK Right to Work.
