About Our Esteemed Client:

Our client is a renowned specialist in engineering, freight, and rolling stock, boasting a dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and advancement.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Controller to join their team in Manchester.

The Role:

We're looking for a proactive and organised individual who will maintain and manage the flow of materials within the company, ensuring that quality and quantity of stock are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the planning, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products
  • Maintaining quality control and inventory levels
  • Working closely with the purchasing department to forecast future material demands
  • Assisting with audits and developing strategies for inventory management
  • Working with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials
Your Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role 2 years minimum - material controller/logistics co-ordinator
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
