Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessments.
- Maintain fire safety standards by ensuring fire exits are clear.
- Practice safe handling, care, and storage of equipment.
- Record and report maintenance issues, and ensure proper use of mechanical and manual equipment.
- Address machine defects and ensure corrective action is taken.
Cleanliness and Food Safety
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times, supervising the stewarding team to maintain high standards.
- Monitor fridge temperature controls and adhere to delivery temperature legislation.
- Manage cellar cleanliness and adhere to cleaning schedules.
- Present food to the highest standards and react promptly to areas requiring attention.
- Understand and comply with loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Adhere to brand standards, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise team to maintain dishwasher areas clean and hygienic, and clean the dishwasher at the end of each shift.
- Supervise team to maintain kitchen and back-of-house areas clean and tidy, adhering to brand standard regulations.
