Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a committed RMN - Eating Disorders to work in a leading mental health hospital based in the South West London area.

This hospital provides fast access to high-quality treatment for various conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress, and eating disorders.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As a Nurse, your key duties include:

  • Developing and implementing individual patient care plans while promoting a professional working environment.
  • Ensuring effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care.
  • Deputising in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy to manage the staffing and clinical needs of the ward.
  • Supporting and supervising new or junior staff.
  • Assisting and supporting regional management in developing and implementing new services.

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
