The Primary and Urgent Care Alliance is seeking an experienced Paramedic Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team, focusing on providing high-quality care through supporting a Home Visiting Service in the Hastings and St Leonards area.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Paramedic Practitioner, you will work as an autonomous practitioner in patient homes, collaborating with nine GP practices to assess patients and commence treatment or refer them onward as appropriate. This service aims to reduce unplanned hospital admissions and actively monitor high-risk patients, initiating early interventions.
Key Requirements- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Essential:
- At least two years post Newly Qualified Paramedic
- Full driving license and own vehicle for home visits
Desirable:
- Experience or interest in primary care, supported by CPD
