About the Role

The Project Officer will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of various projects within the Strategic Waste Management and Enforcement team at Larac. This will involve working closely with the Waste Commissioning Team Leader, Lead Officers, and other Project Support team members to deliver projects that shape the way Larac delivers its waste collection and disposal services to its residents.

The successful candidate will have a good track record of supporting projects, including documentation, and will be able to demonstrate initiative and work under pressure to help deliver against key milestones. Experience in supporting and delivering waste-related infrastructure, construction design management (CDM), and complex works and service contracts is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of projects within the Strategic Waste Management and Enforcement team
  • Work closely with the Waste Commissioning Team Leader, Lead Officers, and other Project Support team members
  • Assist in the development of project documentation, including reports and presentations
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets

Requirements:

  • Good track record of supporting projects, including documentation
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work under pressure
  • Experience in supporting and delivering waste-related infrastructure, construction design management (CDM), and complex works and service contracts (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
