About the Position

We are seeking an Incident Response Specialist to join our team at F5. As a key member of our Security Incident Response Team (SIRT), you will be responsible for addressing security issues in F5 products and providing expert technical leadership for incident handling.

Job Overview:

  • Provide expert security technical leadership for SIRT and drive the mitigation of security incidents.
  • Perform expert attack analysis, configuration suggestions, and potential onsite interaction.
  • Mentor other security-related issues, research emerging threats, and document/present their impact on F5 products and services.
  • Advocate for improving the security of F5 products and services.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 15 years experience in a technical security role such as support, monitoring or consulting working with relevant technologies.
  2. Information security subject matter expert.
  3. Expert understanding of industry standards such as CVE, CPE, and CVSS.
  4. Strong understanding of security frameworks and NIST standards.
  5. Appropriate security-based qualification; CISSP, GCIH (or demonstrated skills and ability to obtain certification) – more than one certification preferred.

Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
