As a key member of the estates department, you will be responsible for managing the upkeep of buildings, engineering systems, roadways, footpaths, and grounds at the designated site(s).

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of engineers carrying out routine decontamination equipment and building service maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory H&S standards and NHS requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational work plans to maintain buildings, plant, and equipment to the appropriate standards.
  • Manage budgets and resources to deliver efficient and effective maintenance services.

Requirements

  • Professional knowledge and experience in engineering and building maintenance.
  • Accredited Health and Safety training and experience in managing maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work with CAFM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
