Job Summary
At Wateringbury Surgery, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, treatment, screening, and health education services to patients in accordance with the UKCC Code of Conduct.
- Work with reference to practice agreed protocols and guidelines, providing nursing treatments to patients both independently and in participation with nurse colleagues and general practitioners.
- Have the required level of training and competence and work within patient group directions where these are available.

- Ability to record accurate clinical notes
- Ability to work within own scope of practice and understanding when to refer to GPs
- Chaperone procedure
- Womens health - cervical cytology, contraception, etc.
- Immunisations - routine, childhood and travel
