**Job Title:** Financial Records Specialist

**Location:** Kettering

We are seeking a skilled Financial Records Specialist to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. As a Financial Records Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and financial reports.

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in bookkeeping and accounting, with experience in using software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP. A good understanding of IT systems and the ability to work to deadlines is essential.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  1. Preparing and Distributing Invoices: Prepare and distribute invoices to customers on time.
  2. Ensuring Timely Payments: Follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely payment from customers.
  3. Reconciling Accounts: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
  4. Investigating and Resolving Queries: Investigate and resolve any queries or issues raised by customers or colleagues.
  5. Preparing Financial Reports: Prepare regular financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
