Medical Records Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide efficient and effective administration services for outpatient bookings and patient pathway management.
Main Duties- Provide reception desk cover for the unit.
- Manage appointments and referrals, supporting clinical teams through the triage process and booking outpatient appointments.
- Monitor waiting lists and carry out validation.
- Patient communication via letter and telephone.
- Build relationships with clinicians, nurses, managers, and other admin teams.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities- Clinic creation and changes.
- Management of clinics, including clinic cancellations, reappointment of cancelled appointments, and checking availability of clinic slots.
- Supporting the lead Patient Pathway Coordinator to monitor capacity and manage both new and follow-up waiting lists.
- Actioning outcomes from clinics, including making follow-up appointments.
- Training staff.
- Providing annual leave cover for the Lead Patient Pathway Coordinator.
A good standard of general education to GCSE level (5 GCSE grade A*-C) or equivalent is required. Previous experience of booking outpatient appointments is essential. The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and experience with iCS and ERS systems are also required.
