Chorley Support Worker
Autism Initiatives provides specialist services tailored to each individual's needs, working alongside people with autism to make a positive difference in their lives. Our services focus on supporting individuals to be as independent as possible, achieving their goals, and pursuing their interests.
Job Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to develop a trusting relationship with individuals with autism and provide personalised support to promote independence. This may involve assisting with personal care, supporting individuals in various settings, and promoting community engagement through activities such as swimming, attending local cafes, or visiting the cinema.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals who share our values and are passionate about supporting others. While a background in autism support is beneficial, it is not essential. We offer great training and a supportive team environment to help you develop your skills and confidence.
Our Benefits Package
We offer a range of benefits designed to reward our staff for their hard work and dedication. These include a contributory pension, generous holiday entitlements, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme. You will also enjoy opportunities for career development and progression, as well as a chance to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with autism.
