Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Maths department at The Blyth Academy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and welfare of students, including those with special needs, under the direction of a class teacher or Inclusion Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical and learning support to students, including those with special needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Help to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work across Key Stage 3 and 4 Maths.
