The Hundred of Hoo Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support in the Primary Phase. This role involves working within a class, assisting pupils of various abilities and curriculum areas. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, personable, and committed to delivering an excellent service.

This is a fixed-term position for the duration of the apprenticeship (approximately 12-18 months), with a 32.75-hour workweek during term time plus one week of inset. The successful candidate will work towards a nationally recognized Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support for individual pupils or small groups within a class
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff members
