About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Shaping Change Team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and supporting the development and implementation of key projects that deliver services that provide optimum patient care, ensure efficient use of resources, and promote a culture that is progressive and inclusive.
Main Responsibilities
- Working directly to the Head of Improvement & Implementation and supporting the Assistant Director of Improvement, Implementation & Spread, providing specialist project management advice and delivery across key Cardiff and Vale priorities.
- Providing project mentoring, facilitating workshops, driving best practice, supporting the design and shape of projects, and helping develop project management capability across the organisation.
- Project managing key projects to ensure top performance and delivery of programme aims.
Requirements
- Significant experience of service re-design in a complex environment, with demonstrable benefits.
- Evidence of managing service change at a senior level.
- Experience/knowledge of working within the NHS or a similarly complex organisation in the delivery or management of operational services or change projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of national, regional, and local challenges and key performance drivers in regards to delivery of health services.
- Knowledge of MS-Office suite of software, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
