Salary: £43,742 - £50,056 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our team at the Institute of Pathology in Belfast. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting complex diagnostic tests and providing expert advice to clinicians on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting histopathology examinations and reporting results to clinicians
  • Developing and implementing new testing procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Providing training and support to junior staff members
  • Maintaining accurate records of test results and patient data

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in a relevant biological science and significant experience in biomedical research or laboratory settings. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
