Lighting Artist Role

We're seeking a skilled Lighting Artist to join our UK-based studio, working on cutting-edge video game projects. The ideal candidate will create captivating lighting and setups that elevate the visual storytelling of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft stunning lighting setups that enhance mood and atmosphere
  • Collaborate with teams to develop dynamic lighting for environments, characters, and gameplay
  • Optimize lighting for various platforms, balancing performance and quality
The Ideal Candidate:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Lighting Artist in the games industry
  • Expertise in creating mood and atmosphere through lighting
  • A keen artistic eye and understanding of colour theory, shadows, and visual storytelling
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 with lighting systems and post-process effects knowledge

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, medical insurance, and a bonus programme.
