About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mountain Healthcare Ltd as a SARC Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in developing a strategic vision for the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) service. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the smooth running of the SARC, ensuring that services meet internal and external expectations and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the multi-agency Centre and services, developing a strategic vision that meets the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the delivery of safe and effective services to clients, ensuring that national and local targets are met.
  • Manage a team of employees associated with the SARC, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement changes in practice that deliver significant and substantial improvements in access and service delivery.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification
  • Basic Life Support (Training Provided)
  • Working with vulnerable people
  • Excellent communication skills and styles
  • Proven strong judgement and analysis
  • Venepuncture trained
  • Managerial experience
  • Trained to complete forensic examinations
  • Awareness of SARC commissioning
