Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Children's Activity Manager to lead our team of childcare professionals in providing high-quality activities for children. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that requires a minimum of 18.25 hours per week during term time only. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 or above Childcare/Play work relevant Qualification and experience working with children of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day staffing, finance, and facilities to ensure smooth operation of the facility
  • Create and develop exciting new children's activity concepts
  • Ensure the children have a great time and are safe at all times
  • Be the Designated Safeguarding Officer and ensure suitable child protection training is sourced and delivered to staff
  • Ensure all children and employees are accounted for and that agreed child: staff ratios are always met
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be friendly and approachable, with great interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills. You'll also need knowledge of Child Development, OFSTED, Safeguarding (Level 3 DSO qualified), Health and Safety, and First Aid.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children of all ages
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Our estimated salary range for this position is £23,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
