Children's Support Specialist

Your role as a Children's Support Worker will involve working closely with children in care, prioritizing their needs and well-being. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting them in various aspects of their lives, such as educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities.
As a Children's Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. You'll work in a variety of settings, including Mental Health, Autism, Challenging behaviour, Education, and Residential.

Responsibilities:
- Support, safeguard, and promote the wellbeing of children and young people
- Assist with daily routines, including community and educational settings
- Organize and facilitate social activities
- Transportation
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice
- Offer high levels of supervision and support
- Comply with Ofsted and CQC regulations
- Manage complex behaviors and crisis intervention
- Contribute to care plans and risk assessments
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a child and/or young adult setting is desirable
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Child & Young People's Workforce (CYP) is desirable
- Age 21 or above to meet industry regulations
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
- Enhanced DBS, which can be applied for upon registration
- Full UK Driving License is desirable
