We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Financial Planning Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for leading an insightful reporting and analysis function that services the rest of finance. You will support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in enabling robust decision making through analysis, insight, and reporting.

  • You will generate standard financial reporting to ensure consistent, accurate, timely data and one version of the truth, to include month-end reporting.
  • You will build strong relationships with Heads of Finance and their FBP teams based on trust.
  • You will provide analytical support to FBPs to facilitate Directorate performance evaluation.
  • You will support Business Finance in developing a financial strategy to enable successful achievement of objectives.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £68,150 per annum, depending on skills and experience. We also offer flexible benefits, including a fund of 20% of base salary, which is paid on top of the base salary and is fully pensionable. Additionally, we provide a range of competitive benefits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • You should have technical accounting skills, including knowledge of current IFRS and FReM understanding.
  • You should have the ability to interpret complex financial data and use it to support decisions and recommendations within the business.
  • You should have the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information throughout the programme lifecycle.
