Job Description: We are searching for a reliable and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team at Simply Out Of School Cowbridge. As an After School Club employee, you will be responsible for creating a positive and enjoyable experience for children aged 3-11. Your tasks will include supervising play opportunities, preparing snacks, and assisting with daily club activities. Additionally, you will need to handle cash payments, organize paperwork, and communicate effectively with parents and school staff.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant childcare qualification or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates (advantageous).
  • Good understanding of playwork principles and child development.

Work Environment: Our After School Club operates in the Y Bont Faen Primary school, providing a secure and supportive environment for children to thrive. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute towards creating a happy and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.

Additional Information: Two references will be required at the interview stage, and a full CV with no time gaps is essential. The successful candidate will undergo relevant initial and ongoing training and DBS checks.
