Job Description

EA Technology is a leading provider of asset condition monitoring solutions for the electrical industry. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our PD Service team, working on high voltage asset condition monitoring projects for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver service projects, utilizing market-leading partial discharge detection instruments and various electrical testing techniques at customer sites across the UK and overseas.
  • Develop and implement asset condition data analysis techniques to improve our customers' network reliability and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to identify and address potential issues with high voltage assets.
  • Conduct condition assessments of substation plant, partial discharge surveys, and monitor installations, calibration, and data analysis.
  • Produce high-quality reports and recommendations for our customers.
Requirements:
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent HND/relevant degree level an advantage but not essential.
  • Electrical background essential, e.g., time served Electrician.
  • Qualified to thermography Level 1 would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Condition Assessment MV/HV electricity distribution/transmission assets.
  • Previous experience of HV testing/diagnostics/maintenance would be an advantage.
  • Valid passport and full UK driving license with the flexibility to travel to client sites.
