Customer Service Delivery Associate

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our customers' shopping trips. You will be the face of Tesco out on the road, interacting with customers in their homes and providing a personalized experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the van and trays used are clean and organized.
• Maintain a clean and tidy delivery area, picking up litter as needed.
• Load the van as required, checking for roadworthiness.
• Interact with customers, addressing any changes to their order, including substitutions.
• Take care of products/deliveries as if they were your own.
• Explain to customers that they will not be charged for substitutions.
• Deliver during the customers' time slot.
• Call customers before arriving at their property if early.
• Call the store if running 30 or more minutes late.
Requirements:
• Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit and a collaborative environment.
• Provide warm and welcoming interactions with customers and colleagues, taking time to understand their needs.
• Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs and adapt to new situations.
• Demonstrate energy and a drive to deliver exceptional results, integrating work and personal life.
• Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues on how to improve the store experience for customers.
• Possess a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
