About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Planning and Coordination Expert to join our team in the South West region. As a key member of our regional team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our Regional Energy Strategic Plan (RESP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engagement with stakeholders within the region and NESO colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regional energy planning and coordination, including whole energy systems and trade-offs between vectors.
  • Design and deliver workshops and engagement activities to progress the RESP and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports and slide packs to communicate key messages and progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with regional and central teams to ensure coordinated engagement planning and delivery.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in energy planning and coordination. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. You will also have a good understanding of NESO's regional energy planning function and be able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
