Patient Mobility Equipment Technician

We are partnering with a leading healthcare provider to find an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team.
Job Summary:This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, servicing and repairing patient mobility equipment across the Kent area.
About the Role:As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patient handling and mobility equipment remains safe and reliable. You will be responsible for conducting scheduled preventative maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, and providing excellent customer service.
You will work collaboratively with internal teams to provide feedback and insights to help improve service offerings and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
A thorough understanding of LOLER regulations and previous testing experience is preferred. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-first approach to service are essential. A full UK driving license with a clean record is also required, as well as the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing of patient handling and mobility equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults on various equipment
- Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients
- Maintaining accurate records of all work completed
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Strong understanding of LOLER regulations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Full UK driving license with a clean record
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
